Have you ever wondered how close you are to God? I am not a mind reader nor can I see your heart. I can tell you right now how close to God you are. You are as close as you want to be. Prayer, Bible study, and having fellowship with true believers is what brings you close to God. Hebrews 10:25. Here are five absolute truths that need to be part of your Christian journey. First an unshakable belief in Genesis 1:1. God is the Creator. Second is an absolute trust in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Third is that He truly is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world, John 1. Fourth is that He took your sins upon Himself, He died on the cross and rose from the tomb. This gives us hope where there appears to be none. Fifth is that He is coming back again to receive His own to dwell with Him eternally. Do those primary truths draw you closer to Him?
